Adorable

Hi today I am sharing my layout for the beautiful mood board challenge over at http://kraftpluschallenges.blogspot.com.au/ The theme is Nature. What beautiful colours in this mood board to work with.

I chose to use shells for my nature theme layout, and the feathers were a must. I originally tried stamping the feathers on gum leaves and fussy cutting them, but I didn’t like them so in the bin they went.

I went with a circular shape for the stamped feathers, and stamped fern leaves, and some stamped shells then I stamped some words randomly. A little cluster of feathers up the top corner of the page was ideal for my little Adorable title.

Next some modelling paste on the left hand side using my fave mesh stencil. I sprayed some blue, and green smooch spritz once the paste had dried. I cut this kraft page down a little in size then attached it to a green base sheet. Then to add the shells, and the lovely stamp in the bottom corner reads – A present from heaven to love and to kiss, no other blessing is sweeter than this.

Perfect Moment

Hi I was so inspired by the fantastic work done by each lady for the September Tri Hard challenge over at http://kraftpluschallenges.blogspot.com.au/ I decided to give the challenge another go. So here is my 2nd take on the challenge.

I started by cutting the size down on my Kraft sheet then distressing the edges. Then this kraft sheet was attached to some black bazzill. Using mister bottles with acrylic paints in the colours similar to the photo, I randomly sprayed away.

I cut triangle mask out of paper and using this and my favourite mesh stamp I was able to stamp the 3 triangles at the top of the page. Using 2 different colour gel pens I placed a border around them.

For the centre strips I have used paper, washi tape and some copper strip (hubby brought home from work). The lovely title I found in my stash of pre made die cuts and the title Perfect moment was found in a free insert from a magazine.

Now for some triangles, cutting some some printed papers, then I cut some patterned shapes and attached them to the brown triangles for something a little different.

I used an orange gel pen and scribble around the border of the Kraft sheet. A little journaling and we are done. The photo is of my son Billy, and my granddaughters Khloe and Kirra. Thanks for stopping by, Sharon xxx

These girls

Hi today I am sharing a layout for the Mood board challenge over at http://berry71bleu.blogspot.com.au/ The theme was Forest.

I didn’t have any papers really in these colours to match the mood board so how much fun it is to create your own. A little gesso applied to the base page, then using mister bottles with acrylic paints and water, I set about to create the colours I loved in the mood board.

The trees and branches are all rub ons which are perfect for the forest theme. Even the leaves on the frame around the larger photo is a rub on.

You are always on my mind and forever in my HEART – well this is true for these beautiful little girls (my granddaughters Kirra and Khloe). The pics were taken last year in the park at Ipswich, the girls had so much fun that day.

The cute little owl is a rub on too, and I stamped and fussy cut the leaves, I was going for the owl in a hollow look so hope I achieved that. Thanks for dropping by, Sharon xxx

School Memories

Hi today I want to share a layout for the School Memories challenge over at http://scrapki-wyzwaniowo.blogspot.com.au/

This layout was a lot of fun, I started my layout by applying gesso over my page, and then I made up some acrylic paints in mister bottles, yellow, black, and blue. I sprayed these randomly over the dried gesso, then trying something a little different I used my brayer to roll the paints all over the page, I really love the effect this gives.

Then using a school paper from Kaszazz I had in my stash I cut some strips and the photo mat. Also I cut out the half circle which I added the rub on Back to school. I foam mounted the photo mat and I have journaled on a tag which slide neatly under this.

The photo is my beautiful son Billy who just loves school. To finish this layout I added some chevron washi tape and another page is done to add to my collection. Thanks for dropping by, Sharon xxx

Love beyond words

Hi today I am sharing a layout for the stunning mood board over at http://scrapafrica.blogspot.com.au/

These are my favourite colours so I really enjoyed creating this layout. I started with a couple of sheets of paper from my stash and set about misting with some smooch spritz’s in different colours to match the mood board.

In my stash I found the perfect stamp set (IndigoBlu) which was free from a magazine I purchase. He beautiful face, dragonflies, butterfly, the flowers and even the wording were perfect for this layout. The wording says “ Live every moment, Laugh every day, Love beyond words”.

Love beyond words is what I feel about these little ones in the photos, my son Billy and my grand daughters Kirra and Khloe.

I have distressed the edges of the spritzed papers and layered them on my base page, I used double photo mats and again I distressed the edges. I added some pretty lilac washi tape from the stash, some Prima bead flowers and a pretty Family charm. I cut the Love word from a Kaiser sheet and die cut the circle which I placed over it.

A day at the park

Hi today I am sharing my layout for the Mood Board Challenge over at Scrap it with Attitude.

Such lovely colours with a Spring feel to them. I had the perfect pics for this layout with my son Billy and my granddaughter Kirra playing at the park.

Starting with a white sheet of bazill paper and a couple of mister bottles I set about mixing colours to match the mood board, blue and yellow. I distressed the photo mat edges and I found the perfect cut out sheet from Kaszazz in my stash – the tags, strips and words.

And there we have a fun page in beautiful spring colours, thanks for stopping by, Sharon xxx

All Boy

Today I am sharing a layout for the beautiful sketch over at http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/

The sketch was just perfect for some Kaszazz cut outs I had in my stash. The tag, circles, stars, and all the wording are perfect for this layout sketch. I used a dark brown as the base page but once the layout was complete I thought it needed something else, so out came the gesso which I applied randomly over the page.

Then a little stamping over the gesso with my favourite mesh stamp in a blue ink and the page is complete. The photo is my boy Billy being All Boy while playing at the park. Thanks for dropping by, Sharon
